There are several recommended excursions, all within 2 hours drive from Etusis.

The Etusis Lodge has recently opened its doors to Rock Climbing. Our climbing site stands out amongst all the other popular climbing destinations with a rock-type that is different to the regular granite at e.g. Spitzkoppe or Erongo. Etusis has a very good quality red quartzite and is a fine place for the traditional climber wanting to practice his skills.

The Etusis Game Reserve is also ideally situated 19 kilometers south west  from the town of Karibib on route from Windhoek to the Spitzkoppe mountain.
